This post makes my heart incredibly happy! As briefly discussed at orientation, Boiling Springs Youth Wrestling will be having a team bonding/building event December 10th from 6-7:30. The purpose of this event is to bring our wrestlers together as a team, and go beyond the physical aspect of wrestling. We want to teach our wrestlers that there is nothing more rewarding than giving back to those in our community. We also want to show them that even though they may be small, they can make a HUGE difference in someone's life 💜💛 To kick off this event, your wrestlers will be provided Chick fil A sandwich, complimentary of Chick fil A in Carlisle (we thank you greatly for this!). We will also provide drinks! Please have your wrestler outside of the auxiliary gym, by no later than 6pm. Next we will be creating and finishing up Christmas cards for the senior citizens at Claremont nursing home, and to deployed soldiers overseas. Christmas cards from your wrestlers will surely bring great joy and a smile to their faces 🎅🤶❤👵👴👨✈️👩✈️🇺🇸 Last but not least, this year we are taking up donations for Safe Harbour in Carlisle. Since residents of Safe Harbour are in transitioning, they are in need of every day essentials such as linens, personal care items, paper products, and non-perishable food. The mission of Safe Harbour is to provide housing and supportive services for homeless and nearly homeless individuals and families to help them achieve independent living by improving their basic life skills. If every wrestler donated $10-$20 worth of necessities, we would truly bless several families and residents of Safe Harbour. Let's show everyone how incredible our wrestlers are off the mats 🤼♂️💪🤼♀️
